This evening sees Kilkenny’s Presentation Secondary School Choir try to impress Simon Cowell and the gang. Their performance is quite something… but will they progress to the next round? Time to start making those “HON THE CATS!” posters. #bgt
The Ray D’Arcy Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)
D’Arcy chats to Shane Ross, Brenda Blethyn and Bonnie Ryan, daughter of the late Gerry Ryan. There will also be tunes from The Willis Family. #raydarcyshow
Everyone’s talking about… David McSavage
Yesterday, the comedian appeared in court for not paying his television licence, citing RTÉ’s recent comedy output. Later that day, The Savage Eye was named Best Comedy at the Celtic Media Awards.
Good timing, eh?
In a statement, RTÉ stated that they loved working with David McSavage, but defended their comedy programmes.
